The contents of the hot pack are made from sodium acetate, which is a form of salt and water and is a non-toxic substance. This instant reusable hot pack can be reused hundreds of times and will retain heat at 130 degrees Fahrenheit for up to three hours.

Instructions For Use To activate- Firmly press and release the activator button inside the heat pack. The solution will crystallize and you should massage the heat pack until it has fully crystallized.
To reactivate- Place in boiling water (on a cloth or vegetable steamer so the pan does not burn it) and let it simmer for about 20 minutes. Remove and cool to room temperature before using again. Keep the pack in a liquid state during storage periods of two or more months.
For Use as a Cold Pack Chill pack in refrigerator, but DO NOT store in freezer.
