Auerbach Mallet Splint From Hely & Weber

If you've suffered a sports injury or other kind of damage to your hand, use the Auerbach Mallet Splint from Hely & Weber to prevent mallet finger.

When the tip of the finger is struck or injured, sometimes the end of the finger fails to straighten after the initial injury has healed--this is mallet finger. It can occur after a broken finger, a collision with a sports ball, or other injuries that damage the tendon that attaches to the little bone beneath the tip of the finger.

The Auerbach Mallet Splint from Hely & Weber is a mallet finger splint designed to support the distal IP joint in an extended position in order to prevent this condition. Constructed of Neoprene with a rubberized backing, this specialized splint controls the range of motion of the DIP joint.

Auerbach Mallet Splint Features:

Neoprene construction with hook & loop contact closure
Malleable aluminum stays can be bent to hyper-extend the DIP joint
Allows full motion of the PIP joint
Soft, scaled rubber underside prevents migration and slippage, even when wet
Waterproof--wear it in the shower, bath, or pool
Order a single splint or a package of three

Can be helpful in treatment of such conditions as:

Trigger finger
Broken finger
Sprain or strained finger

Available in the following sizes:

Size is determined by measuring from the tip of affected finger to the second joint (PIP).
* If your measurements fall on the border, it is recommended that you go up in size.
