Also called ″Resistant Tennis Elbow″, Radial Tunnel Compression is caused when the nerve in the forearm that controls muscles around the wrist and hand is pinched. The result of this compression results in elbow pain and weakness in the wrist and hand, however, numbness and the loss of sensation does not occur.
Radial Tunnel Compression is caused by repetitive motion and is similar to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome except a different nerve is being pinched. It is recommended that cold therapy, braces, splints, and other orthopedics be used to help minimize symptoms.
