If you should receive a defective product please notify Polar and then return it to us within one year of purchase. With stocking distributors this may be extended to within one year of their customers purchase. After inspecting the returned product, Polar will replace any such product free of charge and credit the customer for the return freight. A return authorization number is required.
Return Policy
Polar Products Returns Policy Polar Products allows the return of unopened inventory within one year of purchase with a full refund, except freight cost, providing the goods are returned in like new condition. Extenuating circumstances are handled on a case-by-case basis with our intent to always be fair. In all cases not involving defective product the cost of return freight is the customers responsibility. A return authorization number is required.
I have had both shoulders and one knee scoped over the years and this got me through them SO much better than your basic cold pack. The pack will stay cold most of the night instead of getting up to change a cold pack every hour or so, great for getting a bit of much needed (and hard to get) sleep.

I may not have used this exact system as the cooler was a rental but my shoulder certainly appreciated the cooling of it after surgery and for a couple of months thereafter.
Make sure you have plenty of ice on hand. Check and keep the lines from getting crimped. Not a big problem but you'll know if the water isn't flowing through!
Sure beats a standard icepack!
