I've had light therapy boxes before this one and this is the very best. If you have SAD, using this light for about an hour a day for the first three or four days will help you feel "worlds" better! After that, 20 to 30 minutes daily will do it. It's also the best for reading. The reflective surface around the bulbs makes all the difference. I have used this for years. It was recommended by my primary care doctor, but is the exact same one that my daughter's NYC psychiatrist recommends for his patients. We both love ours and have recommended them to many friends with great results.
