The
Magnassager is an innovative massage product designed to enhance the body's healing process by combining Acupressure, Massage and Magnetic-Massage therapy.
Its patented design allows the user to apply gentle massaging pressure directly over the muscle.
The handle is ergonomically molded to fit the hand for better handling and more efficient control.
The base contains three 1.25" diameter stainless steel balls that rotate at variable speeds (i.e., 33 rpm to 76 rpm). The massage balls are suspended in place by a low frequency magnet. This unique design allows the balls to freely rotate over the muscle in a gentle circular motion. The Magnassager is powered by a high energy, DC motor that uses standard 24V. The 12’ cord allows the user plenty of easy maneuverability. Magnet strength is 1000 gauss. Magnet strength at the rotator plate is 900 gauss and 624 gauss at the ball tip location.
This product weighs 3.75 lbs. With the cord, the weight is 4.5 lbs.
How The Magnassager Works: 
Since the massaging balls are suspended by a natural permanent magnet, a rolling effect is created over the soft tissues which generates heat and minimizes muscle resistance. However, heat is conducted more efficiently when a topical gel or oil is applied to the skin, rather than lotions which are absorbed into the skin more quickly. Nonetheless, the Magnassager can be applied directly over clothing or skin, and will not cause skin irritation. There are no uncomfortable vibrations, repetitive thumps, or the unforgiving pressure of a machine. The combination of the Magnassager’s weight and rotating mechanism allows the clinician to provide continuity of "touch" and pressure throughout the massage. In addition, muscular fatigue in the forearms and fingers is minimized because the Magnassager stimulates massage action. As a result, the Magnassager can easily be applied by clinician or therapist. For optimum results, however, an understanding of massage techniques is recommended.
When pressure or massage is applied to the muscles, the effect helps stimulate the body’s natural electromagnetic energy. Electromagnetic energy is considered to be common to all living things, as the Earth itself produces an electromagnetic field which influences, to some extent, the body’s healing processes (3, 4).
