Back Braces Support And Protect The Lumbar Spine

If you are suffering with back pain from a herniated disc, lower back trauma or arthritis you should wear a lower back brace to help support the Lumbar spine.  When you wear a Lumbar brace, you should instantly feel a relief from pain if the brace is going to be helpful for you.  If the brace increases your pain, you should avoid wearing it.  Back pain can be due to a pinched nerve in the lower spine that causes radiating pain into the leg, such as Sciatica.  Other types of lower back pain can stem from the joints themselves.  The joints in the lower back are called facets, and they can become irritated and inflammed and produce pain.  Arthritis of the Lumbar facets is a common cause of back pain.  The most common type of arthritis in the lower back is Osteoarthritis from the spine being mal-aligned over a period of time.  When the joints are not properly functioning, they take on additional stress, strain and load, causing them to "rub" together and develop excessive bone growth or "arthritis".  You can find all types of back braces for your back pain or sciatica, no matter the cause.
