I have worn a magnetic belt for over 10 years. It work well for me in preventing problems with my back. I can't work bent over or lift heavy weights without it. If I do I can't straighten my back out. I never new till recently if it was due to the heat the belt seem to produce while I work with it on or if it was really due to the magnets. I didn't care, it worked for me and my friends who tried it. But after knee surgery I tried the individual magnets to relieve pain and swelling. It worked, then when I started a second job for the xmas holiday season and got a severe pain in my shoulder at work from lifting heavy packages over my shoulders. Tooth ache like pain and no tylenol or any thing else to help. Well I had some magnets in my purse I was going to lend someone. I put five of them around my shoulder muscle. I was able to continue working to my very big surprise and gradually the pain diminished. The next day the pain was very slight during the 6 hours of heavy work. I am now convinced that the magnets can help prevent pain in overworked muscles and can also reduce pain. My r 91 year old mother in law tried them on her arthridick neck pain and says they do reduce the pain and stiffness in her neck. Please move the magnets around every couple of days for long term problems. It seems to work better that way. My son puts them over his trigger points on his back to relieve his muscle tension but again he doesn't leave them on for more them a couple of days. Seems to work best when you move them around or use them on and off like ice packs or heating pads except it is a couple of days at a time not 20 minute at a time. Can't promise it will work for everyone but it certainly worked for me and a lot of people I know. I am very convinced
