The Finger Platform: The Knork® has an enlarged finger platform located between the handle and head. When trying to cut foods using a regular fork, the finger can develop a painful indentation from pressing down on the side of the narrow handle or tines. When using the Knork®, the finger rests on the smooth, comfortable platform. It also reduces the effort needed to rock the head back and forth, creating the cutting motion. As a result, the Knork® can cut through tougher foods such as pizza.
