The Patented Knork® Design:
The Head: Rounded, beveled outer tines form cutting edges that are effective yet are as safe to the mouth as an everyday fork. They are not serrated or sharp to the touch. This curved head can be rocked back and forth in a motion that is very much like that of a rocking chair. The rocking motion, combined with the beveled edges, gives the Knork® its cutting ability.

The Finger Platform: When attempting to cut foods by pressing down on the side of a standard fork, a painful "indentation" in the finger can result. It is also very difficult or impossible to cut tougher foods such as meats and thick breads. The Knork® has a smooth, enlarged platform between the head and handle. It provides a comfortable surface for the finger to press down on and also reduces the effort needed to rock the head back and forth. As an end result, the Knork® can cut through tougher foods such as vegetables, meats, pizza-- even steaks.
