The Patented Knork® Design:

The Head: The Knork's outer tines are beveled and curved. These edges are capable of cutting through foods, but are not serrated, sharp to the touch or injurious to the mouth. The curved shape allows the Knork's head to be rocked back and forth, much like the motion of a rocking chair. It can be used equally well with either the right or left hand.

The Finger Platform: Another key factor in the Knork's ability to cut through foods is its enlarged platform just under the tines. When attempting to cut foods by pressing down on the side of a standard fork, oftentimes the effort leaves painful "indentations" in the finger. When using the Knork® the finger rests on the platform comfortably. The platform reduces the effort needed to rock the head back and forth. As a result, the Knork® can cut through tougher foods such as vegetables, meats, pizza-- even steaks.

Product Description:

The Knork® 5 Piece Flatware Set includes a Place Knork®, Salad Knork®, Place Knife, Place Spoon and Teaspoon. Each piece features the finger platform and perfectly balanced contour handle described above. This set is made from 18/10 stainless steel, which is the highest quality of stainless steel flatware available. The numbers refer to an 18% chromium and 10% nickel content. Chromium produces an enduring finish, while Nickel adds luster. A choice of either a Glossy (shown) or Duo finish is available. Duo finish pieces have a Glossy head with a Matte handle. This finish carries a slight additional charge.


*Stainless steel can become discolored over time by dishwasher use with hard water. If this occurs, use cleaning product that is formulated for stainless steel. Do not use detergents containing lemon as they may cause surface corrosion.
