TKO ® - The Knuckle Orthosis - From Hely & Weber
The Knuckle Orthosis from Hely & Weber provides protective alignment for injury to the metacarpals, phalanges, and joints.
The TKO ® splint immobilizes your hand and restricts the fourth and fifth fingers. It can be used for both non-surgical treatment and for care following metacarpal fracture surgery. This splint has a window to accommodate pins in the fourth or fifth metacarpals on the medial side of the brace, and a padded aluminum stay that can be bent to align the last two fingers in the recommended healing position. Hook and loop closure straps are easy to fasten for your personal preference of tension and comfort.
Comfortable enough to wear day or night, the Knuckle Orthosis can be hand washed if necessary.
The TKO ® Knuckle Orthosis from Hely & Weber is specific to the side and location of the fracture. If your right hand is injured, with a fracture to the 4th and 5th metacarpals, choose a right hand splint. If the right 2nd or 3rd metacarpals are fractures, then choose a left hand splint. Reverse this process for an injury to the left hand.
