I purchased this pillow to replace an older egg crate contoured foam pillow that was breaking down. Even after more than a month of using the Pillo Pedic Plus, the pillow is very firm to the point of being uncomfortable. I weigh about 195 lbs., so being to light for this pillow should not be an issue.
Unless you like a really stiff pillow, opt our for the softer model.
