Elasto-Gel's Ankle Cold Pack is ideal for the ankle where COLD therapy is needed. Ideal for relief from muscle strains or sprains, joint stiffness, post-surgery discomfort and soreness. Made of tough, flexible gel and covered with four-way stretch urethane material, the Elasto-Gel Ankle Cold Pack is constructed for maximum conformity to your body shape, heat transfer, comfort and durability. Also includes a lycra exterior removable cover. This universal pack can also be used on the back, shoulder, hip, thigh, or neck, depending on the size of the cold pack.
A single product serves both hot or cold needs! For moist heat treatment - Heat In Microwave or Conventional Oven! Simply heat the pack according to the included directions. Then place a damp cloth between the All Purpose Pack and your body. When a warm wrap is applied, moist heat quickly penetrates muscles and joints. The wrap will continue to provide moist heat for approximately 20 to 30 minutes before reheating is necessary.
For cold therapy - Place in Freezer! Store the Elasto-Gel All Purpose Pack in the freezer indefinitely……until ready to use. The wrap remains soft and flexible at temperatures as low as -20 degrees F. The cold wrap will usually numb the treated area within 5 minutes, without the harsh shock and pain experienced with ice or ice water treatments. The wrap will remain cold for an estimated 20 to 40 minutes.
Care Instructions - (Directions Included) Removable Lycra Cover - Hand wash in cold water and mild soap. Hang up to dry. Wrap - Wipe the inside urethane bladder with a damp cloth using mild soap or disinfectant. Always store product in a re-closable bag when stored in the freezer.
