The new Cho-Pat ITB Strap applies compression at the area of discomfort to help relieve lliotibial Band Syndrome. This strap features a wrap around application for easy use. It uses compression to help prevent the snapping or friction of the lliotibial band over the bony prominence just above and outside of the knee joint or further up the leg at the hip joint to assist the healing process.
The ChoPat I.T.B. Strap is recognized as an effective addition to the treatment procedures for lliotibial Band Syndrome. (While it may alleviate the symptoms of lliotibial Band Syndrome, the cause may still be present.
