Description

The ChoPat Thigh Compression Sleeve improves patellar tracking resulting in less knee degeneration, inflammation, and pain. It functions dynamically because the fabric-covered neoprene material applies constant pressure to the joint, helping to provide effective symptomatic relief of acute and chronic pain associated with patellar tendonitis, arthritis, and overuse syndromes. In addition, the Stabilizer has four enclosed firm plastic tubes acting as buttresses around the kneecap to reduce patellar subluxation and degeneration.

The patellar stabilizer allows for full mobility of the knee joint while providing lateral and medial support for weak and arthritic knees. For easy use, simply wrap around the knee and secure with convenient straps.

Please Note: This product contains neoprene

good concept but poor design on details, September 22, 2013
By Bud(Jesup, GA )

First, The straps are to wide to bend your knee comfortably, while bicycling and running a. Secondly, Also, when put on properly the Velcro that is facing out and is not against the skin still can be irritating. I believe if you fix number one it could take care of number 2. I've been using cho-pat products for over twenty years and this is the first problem I've encountered. The concept is great. If you ever get it fixed let me know and i'll buy the new ones.

Bad redesign, July 6, 2013
By Moi(Albany, NY)

I owned an older model of this product and when I got the new one I found it had been redesigned by reverting the Velcro and changed so it fastened on the inside of your leg. The change in position of the Velcro puts the roughest part on your skin and having the fastener on the inside of leg causes the excess to brush the other leg with sharp edge. I solved the problem by wearing it inside out and it works fine. A mystery why they changed it.

Good Support but uncomfortable, July 25, 2012
By Karen(Seattle, WA)

I agree with last review regarding the measurements. My knee circumference is 13 inches so I order the xtra small per the recommendations. However, it the straps barely reach the velcro and it is uncomfortable against a bare knee. I am going to order a larger size because it does work and perhaps wear some type of light weight cloth between the support and the skin.

Not for me, September 28, 2011
By Love Forty(Miami Beach. FL)

I measure 14 1/2 inches around my knee so I ordered the medium (14 to 16) but it does not fit correctly. The velco strap overlaps therefore rubbing against my skin and it has now caused a bumpy red rash on the side of my knee. The straps behind the knee are so thick it is uncomfortable. My tennis partner recommended this brace but it just doesnt work for me.

Good Support, December 29, 2009
By LindaKay(Onalaska, WI)

My left knees rolls over and this braces works very well. I do need to place the brace just so, or I get sores behind my knee. When I put the brace on, I make sure that after I have the bottom strap secured, that I bend my knee to make sure it feels comfortable.
