These washable, reusable hot/cold packs can help to relieve pain associated with common conditions, including lower back pain, arthritis, sprains, strains and menstrual cramps. They are one-piece, fully adjustable wraps that conform to the body for targeted and hands-free hot or cold therapy. A Velcor strap on the front allows the wrap to be adjustable. The packs are microwaveable, no need for electrical cords or boiling water! For cold therapy, simply freeze.
Thermalon wraps are different from standard hot/cold gel packs in that they contain a new non-gel thermal media. This means that there are no exploding packs when microwaved, no leaking gels and no condensation when frozen. They also have timed release, preventing tissue damage from burns or frostbite. The packs remain soft and flexible while heated or frozen and resist gathering, bunching and "bottoming out."
Two different sizes are available. The Small Heat/Cold Pack is designed to wrap snugly around the wrist, upper arm or ankle. It can help to reduce swelling and provide natural pain relief for conditions including sprains, strains, carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitis. The Universal Heat/Cold Pack (additional cost) comes with an adjustable strap, allowing it to fit around larger body regions such as the shoulder, thigh, abdomen and lower back.
