The Sol Step provides shock absorption on the plantar aspect of the foot and gives extra cushion. With a neoprene stocking, that can be worn in most shoes with little to no modification and a gel pad in the heel of the Sol Step for heel cushion to alleviating heel pain. That same gel pad has Sealed Ice that can be frozen and provide five to ten minutes of cold therapy to reduce inflammation. The compression of the neoprene stocking to the heel and the arch treats edema and reduces swelling, accelerating healing. This is for the purchase of one Steady Steps Sol Step only, this product is not sold in pairs.
The Sol Step provides effective treatment for chronic heel pain, heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, fat pad contusion or atrophy and calcaneal stress fracture.
Fits like a stocking, offering comfort and ease of use. Toes or feet should not feel numb or tingling. If this occurs a larger size is needed.

The item in the picture appears to be a bit more sturdy and larger than the actual product, when I actually received it...I thought, I paid $17.00 for this? The gel insert is too thin in my opinion and the stocking seems to be ill fitting.
