Steady Step Perform 8 - Brown Medical Lateral Ankle Stabilizer

Add support and help alleviate pain or discomfort, with the Steady Steps Perform 8! This two part therapeutic system includes a neoprene sock, which provides compression for increased blood flow and gives support to soft tissue. Additionally, a non-elastic, rigid strap wraps in a figure 8 configuration to provide ankle support. The strap provides a non-restrictive comfort zone of extensor tendons in the anterior area of the ankle and adjusts easily for maximum dorsiflexion of the foot.
The Stabilizer comes equipped with pads parallel to the Achilles tendon to prevent posterior pressure on the Achilles tendon and to protect the tendon. The pads provide redistribution of strap pressure. Hook fasteners with touch down pad assure continuous adhesion to the sock. The fasteners lock the strap at the terminal end and make adjustment of strap quick and easy.
