Cho-Pat Dual Action Knee Strap
Cho-Pat′s newly patented Dual Action Knee Strap provides an extra dimension of relief for painful and weakened knees. This knee brace features wrap around straps that make for an easy application to the injured area. The strap applies pressure upon the patellar tendon below the kneecap to stabilize and tighten the area, which helps improve patellar tracking and helps reduce patellar subluxation. It adds further strengthening to the tendons to reduce the forces of the quadriceps on the patella tendon and erosion of the undersurface of the kneecap due to a possible misalignment of the quadriceps (Q angle).
The design and construction of this knee wrap applies constant dynamic forces to the surrounding areas of the knee, reducing the likelihood of overuse syndromes. At the same time, the strap allows for full mobility while providing maximum benefits. This Knee Strap is constructed from neoprene with a nylon/polyester fabric cover.
If between sizes, you will want to choose the smaller size. This item will stretch with normal wear to provide a more comfortable fit.

wonderful concept but I may be too obese and need it larger??, October 23, 2009

I am obese and Diabetic Type II so I struggled with the largest size being verrrry snug and some skin irritation to point of discomfort. I think is is a wonderful concept!

I have used Cho-pat braces on both my knees and they have helped to stabilize my knees. I put on the braces when my knees are hurting and in a while they do not hurt any more. My Rhumatologist was very impressed with them. I have been able to hike over rough ground with them and my knees do not hurt.

It makes me feel 21 again, June 26, 2009

After being hit on my motorcycle and two surgery's I had a real hard time getting back to work, A friend told me about this and WOW I can run, go up a flight of stairs like I was 21 again. This product is nothing short of a miracle. Took the pain away as soon as I put it on !!! Any one that has had a torn meniscus realy should have one !!!
