Thermophore® Automatic Moist Heat Pack
 The Battlecreek Thermophore® Automatic Moist Heat Pack provides controlled intense moist heat, for temporary relief from muscular aches and pains. Feels great on arthritis pain, lower back pain, and menstrual cramps. No water, moist packs or towels are needed. A treatment takes only 20 to 30 minutes, yet the beneficial results continue for several hours.
To assure maximum benefit, the Thermophore® Automatic Moist Heat Pack is weighted to follow the contours of the treatment area. The hot pack has a special tightly-woven flannel cover, which retains moisture from the air. When the Thermophore® Automatic Moist Heat Pack is turned on, the surge of heat into the cover moves the moisture from the heated flannel to the cooler body tissue.
The Thermophore® Automatic Moist Heat Pack is designed to achieve a heat level ranging between 170 degrees F and 185 degrees F. To achieve your individual heat comfort level, simply depress and hold the toggle switch. When the pad heat level meets you individual comfort needs, release the toggle to stop the increase in temperature. As the Thermophore® Automatic Moist Heat Pack cools down, simply hold the toggle down again to increase the pad temperature for your comfort. Should you fall asleep during the treatment, the protective switch will snap off as your finger relaxes and the unit immediately cools down, preventing burns.
 The most effective way to use moist heat is by applying a short treatment at a high temperature, then allowing the body to return to normal temperature, and then repeating the process.
