I ordered the "regular" size which is the smaller of the two sizes (large being the other). The size break was on 16" which is the exact size of my knees. I went with the smaller wrap thinking I could generate more compression on the knee. Unfortunately in pulling the wrap to the desired level I had so little velco left (because the wrap was so large) to attach that I could not arrive at the desired compression and the wraps were not successful for me. You really had to wear them to find out (which no doubt precludes returning them). While I cannot complain about the quality of the wrap, I did think the supporting straps were awkardly designed which may have led to the sizing issue. I purchased wraps for both knees and they were not inexpensive to end up being a total wash out. I can't be positive whether the compression would have been adequate because the fit was so poor. Investigate these carefully before you buy them.

Great knee support brace!!! Especially good for all sports since you can loosen and tighten it during the sporting event AND it does NOT need to be "pulled on".

I have worn it for extended periods of time with little or no discomfort while providing what I consider excellent support.The fact that it has adjustable controlled compression makes it easy to use with varying applications.
