Knee Support and Stabilization
Practical hinged knee support is extremely light weight and recommended for post surgery, mild ligament injury, knee instability or degenerative joint disease. This hinged knee brace is ideal for walking or light athletic activities. The hinged knee brace provides medial and lateral stabilization. The hinges are made of an ultra light space-age composite material that is strong and durable and won’t be heavy or bulky on your leg. The hinges include stops to help prevent the knee from hyper extending or causing injury. Unlike neoprene, the material is breathable and cool with less bulk so it will rest comfortably on your knee.
It has wrap style front closures and tension control straps for an excellent fit. It is available in Black as shown.
This unit is made from open cell foam for added protection, and has no neoprene or latex. It has non-slip silicone straps for maximum flexibility.
To determine your size: Measure your thigh 4 to 5 inches above the center of your kneecap. Measure around your calf 4 to 5 inches below the center of your kneecap. If measurements differ slightly, use the thigh measurement.

The product is good and is lightweight. The metal bars are not close to the leg, about 1 in away. It does support the leg when walking. It does not help, though, if the pain is in the center of the knee. I have another bandage around the kneecap itself. This is my experience with it. It stays up pretty well, but I need to readjust during the day cause it slides down somewhat. You can bend your knee with it, so it is good to walk in.
