The core is the central or mass part of the body in which all the movement originates. The core muscles are always hard at work to keep your body stabilized as the weight constantly shifts. This area around your trunk needs to be practiced in good posture such as proper pelvic, lower back, hip, and abdominal alignment because of the support they impose on the spine. Exercise and proper posture make the core strong and less susceptible to injury of the spine or body alignment.
