Lumbar Support Gives Me My Life Back!, October 2, 2009

I've had three ruptured disk surgeries in my lower back and three epidurals in my cervical disks with pain down my right arm. I'm currently in physical therapy for pain down my left arm from pinched cervical nerves. I'm a quilter but couldn't sew more than 5 minutes without my back being in terrible pain and my neck burning. The same was true if I did any yard work. I was nearly incapacitated with back pain when I attended a five day quilt show. A friend suggested I order a back brace. This ThermoSkin Lumbar Support has literally given me my life back after years of suffering excruciating back pain! It has allowed me to sit at my sewing machine, attend quilt shows and do yard work without being in agony! I thought I would be in this hideous pain the rest of my life and would just have to "work through it." But this lumbar support has relieved the horrible back pain I've endured for 32 years! The real test came when I went on my first cruise to Alaska in September 2009. The lumbar support allowed me to enjoy the excursions we went on, walk distances and fly, nearly pain free! It also increased my endurance since I was not hurting constantly. Of course, I continue to exercise and keep my own muscles strong but when I need a little extra help, I can count on this lumbar support. I cannot recommend this product enough!

This Support has Given Me Back My Life and I Mean it!, August 23, 2009

I am an expert on chronic back pain. I was the victim of a terrible assault and worse in 1974 (I was 26 and had a baby and a toddler) which significantly injured my lower back. I had my lowest disk rupture and be surgically removed in 1977, the next one up did the same and was removed in 1980 and L3-4 followed suit in 1997. I have had three epidurals at C5-6-7-T-1 in my cervical disks for pain and can have no more. The doctors are trying to avoid surgery there. I also have severe fibromyalgia, etc.. I refuse to take heavy duty pain killers but try to exercise and have gone to physical therapy for eight years (off and on). I try to quilt, do yard work and live but the pain is excruciating. I'd gotten to the point that the hideous pain was constant! A friend who also has back pain suggested I get a back brace. My internist picked this one. This brace has allowed me to sit at the sewing machine and make quilts, something I haven't been able to do in maybe, forever!! It has made it possible for me to go to a quilt show and enjoy looking at everything without looking for chairs to collapse in because of my back pain. I can do some yard work without immediately going into agonizing back spasms! I am NOT exaggerating when I say that the ThermoSkin Lumbar Support back brace has given me my life back!!! I thought that for the rest of my life I would have to just suffer in terrible pain but now I don't! I only wear it when I need that extra support for my back. When I do need it, it's there for me and I thank the stars above! In fact, I am purchasing my second one here at almost half the price of my first one. (BTW, my friend got hers here as well!)

After having a burst L2 disc and compression fracture on L4 the brace gives me the support I need after getting out of my hard brace.
